It is one of Europe’s most stunning coastlines. It is also one of the wildest, least explored and most biodiverse protected territories within Iberia, and one of Portugal’s protected natural parks, the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina.

The Rota Vicentina, as a sustainable tourism project, has already won prizes including the Welcome to Portugal Award given by the LIDE, the Merit Award by the British Guild of Travel Writers, the Innovation Publituris “Portugal Trade Award” received at the BTL.
